How do I know if I need a full or a Partial highlight?
A partial highlight is perfect for when you just want to brighten the top and the front of your hair. But do not need additional highlights on the underside of your hair.
If your wanting higlights throughout all of your hair, a full higlight is what you want.
What's the difference between highlights & hair painting?
Hair painting is when your hair is painted free-hand with specific pieces or sections. Traditional highlighting normally requires the use foils.
Both foiling and hair painting can produce beautiful effects. Both can significantly or subtly change your hair color.
Ultimately, whether you go for foiling or hair painting is really determined by either what your goal is, or by the recommendation of a highly trained and artistic colorist. Because a true artistic colorist can acheive your desired look by using numerous methods. In the end, a good colorist will recommend the right method for you.

How long does my hair need to be for hair painting?
You can hair paint any length of hair. Your length however, will determine a different look.
